Sharon Krieger, has been providing quality health care to the residents of the Tampa Bay Area for 15 years as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has provided Psychopharmacology and Individual and Family Therapy to hundreds of individuals of all ages.
She has recently added Neurobiofeedback to her practice. Neurobiofeedback is an exciting treatment modality that enables an individual to move towards mental and physical health and in some instances peak performance by training their own brainwaves through highly sophisticated mechanisms. Disorders that can be treated include: ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Autism, Hypertension, Migraine Headaches, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Memory Loss, Alzheimer’s and Fibromyalgia. Sharon is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing . She attended the South Florida where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing in 1987. She added Family Practice to her career in 1992 at the University of South Florida She also has completed the coursework for an Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology. She began her Neurotherapy career in 2003 upon learning effective Neurobiofeedback is for a variety of mental and physical disorders. Sharon has worked in a variety of health care settings to provide quality health care to people of all ages in our tri-county area.
Sharon is the founder and President of Building New Horizons, Inc. Her intention is to help all who she comes in contact with to “build their horizons”.
